Brahma Bull, a three-year-old chestnut colt trained by Anthony “Baba” Nunes, secured his second career win from seven starts in a $1.1-million Restricted Allowance II contest at Caymanas Park on December 21, 2025.

Ridden by Dane Nelson, Brahma Bull led the pack, covering the 6 furlongs (1,200m) in 1:16.0 (24.0 x 48.4 x 1:01.4) and crossed the finish line 1 ¾ lengths ahead of Native Flyer (Shavon Townsend) and Miss Braeton (Raddesh Roman). Brahma Bull, a progeny of Sunshine N Shadow – Esperanza, has shown promise with this win, following his previous victory in a Maiden Special Weight contest earlier in the year.

Brahma Bull blasted out of the gates, rocketing to the front and showing his heels to Big La (Phillip Parchment), Legal Fight (Tevin Foster), Native Flyer, and Miss Braeton. He maintained a steady pace, leading into the half-mile (800m) mark ahead of Cutout (Jaheim Anderson) and Big La.

As they approached the distance, Cutout tried to close in, but jockey Nelson wasn’t having it. He urged Brahma Bull on, and the chestnut colt responded, kicking clear of Cutout at the top of the lane and cruising to a comfortable win.
