What started with a bold “Do you cook?” DM has now turned into “I do,” as Olympic sprint king Noah Lyles and Jamaica’s Junelle Bromfield officially tied the knot, just days after teasing fans with a “24h till we say ‘I do’” post and sealing their whirlwind love story.
According to Vogue Magazine, the couple’s journey began back in 2018 when Bromfield boldly slid into Lyles’ DMs with the infamous question.
That message sparked a seven-year romance filled with ups, downs, distance and reconnection — all leading to a fairy-tale wedding on April 4, 2026, at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge in Georgia.
Lyles had been plotting the big moment for months, designing a custom ring and disguising the proposal as a casual trip with friends. But the surprise nearly unraveled when one guest accidentally tipped Bromfield off moments before the big question.
Still, the proposal went ahead in spectacular fashion, complete with a giant floral heart, candles, and sparklers, before the couple celebrated into the night.
Fast forward to the wedding day, and it was nothing short of a showstopper. The theme, “All Shades of Melanin,” brought a rich blend of culture, style and unity, with both American and Jamaican influences on full display.
Bromfield stunned in a regal ball gown from Jamaican-owned Pantora Bridal before switching into a lace mini dress to dance the night away, while Lyles matched the vibe in a deep chocolate suit which he later changing into a second look to keep up with his bride’s fashion energy.
In true Lyles fashion, even the groomsmen’s outfits had a twist as each suit featured anime-inspired linings, adding a personal and playful touch to the big day.
The ceremony itself was filled with raw emotion, with Lyles admitting he knew he would cry, which he did, as Bromfield read her vows with trembling hands.
“It was a ceremony of unity,” Bromfield said, noting how seamlessly both cultures blended on the day.
The celebration didn’t stop there. Guests were treated to a performance from gospel star Tasha Cobbs Leonard, choreographed dances, and a packed dance floor that stayed alive until the very end.
And as if on cue, after fireworks lit up the night sky to close the celebration, rain finally fell, a moment Bromfield described as “magical.”
From a cheeky DM to a grand wedding filled with love, culture and pure vibes, Lyles and Bromfield’s story has officially crossed the finish line together.
