This Heroes Weekend, Kingston, is making its case as the place to be.
Greatness Weekend 2026 returns October 16–19, bringing together four signature experiences celebrating music, food, fashion, nightlife and Jamaican culture. Dubbed ‘Kingston’s Official Party Weekend’, this year’s staging is supported by the ‘I Choose Kingston’ campaign, an initiative encouraging Jamaicans, the diaspora and international visitors to choose the capital for Heroes Weekend – staying in the city, dining locally, exploring its attractions and experiencing four distinct events across one long weekend.
The series opens on Friday, October 16, with PCF: Pool Cooler Fete (PCF), celebrating its 10th anniversary with the South Beach Edition. The milestone staging reimagines PCF’s signature poolside experience with a stylish ‘South Beach’ theme, while PCF VIP will be food inclusive. Promoter Curtis Hyatt says the anniversary demonstrates the staying power of the home-grown brand.
“Ten years of PCF represents 10 years of building an experience that people continue to choose. South Beach gives us an opportunity to refresh that experience while maintaining the energy and identity our patrons know and love,” he said.
On Saturday, October 17, RECALL: Throwback Festival also celebrates its 10th anniversary with ‘Straight Jeans & Fitted.’ Built around the music, fashion and party culture of the 1990s and 2000s, RECALL transforms nostalgia into an immersive throwback experience. Promoter Fabian O’Hara says the event is about recreating the feeling of an unforgettable era.
“RECALL is more than playing ‘old’music. It’s the fashion, the dancing, the songs you know word for word and the energy of an era when people came to a party to genuinely enjoy themselves. Ten years later, that connection is still there,” he said.
The weekend takes a refined turn on Sunday, October 18, with CUPS: Château Blanc, a premium blue-and-white breakfast party. The food-inclusive experience will combine breakfast, entertainment and CUPS’ signature party culture within an elevated château-inspired setting. Promoter Tamark Bailey says the new concept signals the continued evolution of the brand,
“Château Blanc takes CUPS into a different space; premium, stylish and intentional, while still maintaining the energy people expect from us. It’s a fresh experience, and we’re excited to introduce it for Greatness Weekend,” said Bailey.
The series culminates on Heroes Day, Monday, October 19, with the Greatness Pink & White Brunch, a premium food-inclusive experience bringing together cuisine, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle. For Larone Brown, promoter of the brunch and CEO of Greatness Group, the vision for Greatness Weekend extends beyond the individual events,
