Dancehall recording artiste Dyum is currently setting his sights on international musical markets as he continues to build on his recent charting success.

The singjay, who recently peaked at number six on the iTunes Reggae Singles Chart, as well as number five on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart says he is ready to make his mark on the global stage.

“It’s been a good year for me musically and I am just looking to build on the current momentum and take my career to new heights. The album is doing well and I am putting in the groundwork in various territories to build on this. The sky is the limit,” stated Dyum.

The recording artiste, who is also attending university where he is studying cybersecurity, said that the schedule is packed but he is enjoying the challenge.

“It is not a simple task to balance so many things, however I always find a way to do so because music is my passion. However, I do have other interests, but based on the current trajectory of my career, I may never need to practise cybersecurity as a profession. But I still want to complete my studies because I am someone who does not leave a mission incomplete,” stated Dyum.

The former soldier says his military background has helped him to be a self-motivated and disciplined artiste and person, which he said have helped him tremendously with his musical growth.

“I am a workaholic and a perfectionist which has helped me to hone my craft. I worked hard on my sound and overall presentation the same way I would execute a mission. If people fi know how much time me put inna my ting, dem woulda be amazed. But as a former military man, discipline is naturally a part of me,” stated Dyum.

Currently Dyum is busy promoting his Portland Gyal single which has been racking up streams on several digital platforms.
