JOCKEY Tevin Foster continued his good form in the saddle when he booted home two winners, Burning Valor and Ms Cherry, on the 11-race card at Caymanas Park on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Burning Valor won the opening race, a three-year-old and upward Optional Claiming ($500,000-$400,000) event that included six-year-olds and upward (non-winners of four) and native-bred five-year-olds (non-winners of three) over six furlongs (1,200m).

Ms Cherry was victorious in the third race, a Restricted Allowance II contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of four) and imported four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three), also over six furlongs.

Trained by Norman Smith, Burning Valor — who was stepping down from the $700,000 Claiming level — came from behind runners to win the race by a length and a half in a time of 1:17.0 (29.1 x 54.2 x 1:07.3). Finishing second was Ruby’s Light (Anthony Allen) while ending in third was
Linstead Market (Christopher Mamdeen).

Burning Valor is a five-year-old bay horse bred by Silent Valor out of the Burning Marque mare
Burning Clearance. It was his second win for the season from nine starts.

Ms Cherry, a four-year-old bay filly by Sensational Slam out of the Zanjero mare Fiftyshadesofray, was a comfortable 2¾-length winner. She sat behind the pace in the early exchanges before unleashing a powerful run in deep stretch to register her second win for the season from 10 starts.
Titan Tempo (Paul Francis) was second and She’s Dallas Love (Tyrese Anderson) was third.
