Vacae Weekend 2026 went out with a bang on Monday night as dancehall hotshot Malie Donn turned up the heat at Campari Sandz, delivering a high-energy performance that had Plantation Cove rocking from start to finish.
The Easter weekend series closed in electrifying style, with a massive crowd flooding the venue for what has become one of the most anticipated finales on the party calendar.
From early, the vibe was set as top selectors Shukkle Bus, Chromatic, Donhot and Ricky Platinum kept the energy sky-high, warming up patrons for the main event. But when Malie Donn stepped on stage, it was clear the night had reached another level.
The V6 deejay wasted no time, firing off hits like 7:00 p.m., Body Tea, and Dragga, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Patrons sang along word for word, waving, jumping and fully locked into every moment of his set.
With commanding stage presence and infectious energy, Malie Donn proved why he is one of dancehall’s fastest-rising stars, owning the stage and sealing the weekend with authority.
Adding to the spectacle was this year’s bold “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme, which transformed the venue into a visually striking playground. From detailed decor to immersive staging, the production elevated the entire experience, giving patrons more than just a party, but a full-on escape.
Organisers say the success of Sandz highlights the continued growth of Vacae Weekend as a major player in Jamaica’s entertainment scene.
“This year, Sandz was all about delivering a strong finish to the perfect weekend. From the performances to the production, everything came together,” said Andrew Ellis, CEO of Twenty14 Ltd.
Backed by title sponsor Campari Group, the event once again delivered a premium experience, blending music, lifestyle and culture into one unforgettable send-off.
