Rising from personal tragedy with resilience and purpose, cultural advocate and recording artiste Maroon Queen has launched the ‘Weed Baby’ rhythm, a project she is spearheading as producer while navigating one of the most difficult periods of her life.
Recently, Maroon Queen suffered a devastating loss when her home was destroyed by fire during Hurricane Melissa. Despite the setback, the artiste, designer, and cultural promoter has chosen to transform adversity into action, channelling her energy into music production and creative expression. The Weed Baby rhythm marks a significant milestone in her career, as she steps forward not only as an artiste but also as a producer guiding the project’s vision. The rhythm features a strong line-up of reggae voices including Chuck Fenda, Ginjah and Ras Bogle.

Maroon Queen is gearing up to release the first single from her upcoming EP. The track, titled Babylon Going Down, is featured on the ‘Burn Injustice’ rhythm.
