The ‘Genesis 2026’ riddim, released by producer Collin ‘Junavill’ Clarke, features a slew of well-known acts and gives official status to a brand built on intention, structure, and a commitment to producing conscious, timeless music with international reach.
The project, which was released last November, sees offerings from Sequence Di Boss, Delly Ranx, Utan Green, Sativa D Black 1, D’Angel, Ganggoolie, Flourgon, Jigsy King, Little Hero, Emanuel Stain, T-Drive, and others aligned with the Junavill movement.
“These artistes were selected because of their conscious approach to music, authenticity, and ability to make timeless material. Each artiste offers a unique voice and lyrical strength, yet they all share the same commitment to meaningful, message-driven work. Their contributions align perfectly with the purpose of Junavill Records: building music that stands the test of time,” said Clarke, the founder of Junavill Records.
The record label was formed in December 2024, and by early 2025 the development of the identity, branding, and operational structure came into motion. However, Clarke’s work with artistes began earlier through bookings, management, and creative partnerships, such as the re-edition of the ‘Two Time’ riddim. Other Junavill productions include the ‘Gyal Teef’ riddim and the ‘Fire Rocket’ riddim.
TUNNEL VISION
Clarke shared that in a diverse industry filled with other creatives, his goal is to maintain his authenticity and tunnel-vision approach.
“What sets me apart is my approach. I do not compete with other producers — I stay focused on my lane and my vision. My goal is not to follow trends or chase hype … my vision is to build catalogues. I am intentional with the artistes I select and the projects I develop, everything must align with purpose, message, and longevity. I am already established in life, so music for me is passion, not pressure. This allows me to create from a place of clarity rather than desperation. I am here to build a legacy, not to seek validation,” he said.
The producer, who hails from Mandeville, Manchester, and holds residencies in Florida and Europe, has clear goals to cement his name in music for long-term success.
“I aim to create a catalogue that grows stronger every year — productions that carry meaning, structure, and cultural value. I want to elevate artistes who are committed to positive expression and provide them with platforms where their voices can be heard globally. For me, music is purpose, and my mission is to use that purpose to uplift, empower, and contribute something valuable to Jamaican music and the world,” he said.
