Malie Donn is turning up the feel-good factor with his latest single, Holiday, as the dancehall artiste gears up for the release of his debut studio album.
Released through VP Records, the breezy new track is the latest preview of The Golden Child, due September 4, and arrives with plenty of melody, energy and summer vibes.
Built around infectious rhythms and catchy hooks, Holiday sees Malie Donn embracing a lighter, more carefree side of his artistry.
The track is all about stepping away from everyday pressures, enjoying good company and making the most of life’s moments.
“Everybody deserves a break sometimes. Holiday is about enjoying life, creating memories, and forgetting the stress, even if it’s just for a moment. I wanted to make a song that people could feel good about wherever they are in the world,” says Malie Donn.
Known for blending street anthems with melodic storytelling, Malie Donn showcases his versatility on Holiday, delivering a track tailor-made for parties, playlists and summer celebrations across the Caribbean and beyond.
The single is also part of the build-up to The Golden Child, a 21-track debut album that promises to showcase the artiste’s range through contemporary dancehall, melodic tracks and collaborations.
The album features Squash, Byron Messia, DJ Frass, Antuwang, Puppy (Rifle), Javo Donn, Rated R and DRXGZ.
The Golden Child will be released digitally and on LP vinyl on September 4 via VP Records.
Malie Donn has been steadily building his profile with a string of breakout singles, including V6, Cups Up, Body Tea, 7:00, Van Cleef and Dungeon.
