The 2025 Port Royal Sprint, a Grade One event for three-year-olds and upward, has 17 horses provisionally entered for the six-furlong contest on November 16.
Notably, the winner will secure a spot in the Mouttet Mile. Based on the quality of the field, the race promised to be an exciting affair.
Pack Plays, trained by Ricardo Mathie, and Wall Street Trader, trained by his father Rowan, head the scales at 57.0kgs (126lb). Not too far behind is the promising Rideallday from the barn of Philip Feanny at 56.5kgs (124lb).
Dothraki, trained by Jason DaCosta, who had tongues wagging on his recent debut, is on the eligible list and might get in after nominations. He is set to carry at 54.5kgs (120lb).
